I used Pieces 0' Cake design (free) called Simply Color and changed the borders. I quilted it as I went using an old method I use to use. I hope she likes it and that it gives her comfort.

do you find quilt as you go easy? did you hand quilt or machine quilt? I have been thinking of trying out this method to learn machine quilting. I saw the back you had sashing and that is one thing I was thinking of doing if I try it.
